The 2020 Winners of the National Science and Mathematics quiz, PRESEC- Legon, have paid a courtesy call on the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive of GOIL, Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh at his office in Accra. They were accompanied by the organisers of the flagship Quiz program, Primetime Limited.

In attendance were some officials of GOIL including the Chief Operating Officer Alex Adzew, Head of Corporate Affairs, Marcus Deo Dake, the Head of Operations, Denis Amui and the Head of Estates, Kingsley Ansah.

The winners who were accompanied by some teachers and instructors, formally presented the trophy to Mr Osei Prempeh.

Mr Osei-Prempeh commended the efforts of Primetime Limited and assured them of long term support for the competition. He encouraged the winning school to pursue higher heights as winning the competition was just a stepping stone to their journey of exploring the world of Science and Mathematics. 

The Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Alex Adzew  encouraged the students to focus on their studies as they climb the academic ladder of excellence and assured organizers of innovative incentives in subsequent editions.

GOIL was a headline sponsor, supporting it with the GOIL RIDDLE BONANZA, a segment of the quiz program that awarded cash prizes to competing schools for either answering three (out of four) or all four riddles correctly. Cash prizes were also given to each of the three contestants and their teachers, which made up four beneficiaries per team.

As part of the sponsorship, GOIL also awarded a one-year free fuel to the main Quiz mistress and provided fuel support to the three quiz mistresses.

As the official fuel partner, organizers of the Quiz, Primetime were provided with fuel which was used for the production of the preliminary stage of the competition in the regions and zones.
