Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson has commended GOIL for the provision of quality Marine Gas Oil (MGO) and lubricants to fishing vessels.
In a fisheries stakeholder meeting held in Tema, Madam Hawa Koomson noted that GOIL, among other local companies, has been well-positioned to provide quality services to sustain the industry.
In his address, The Chief Executive Officer of AMSOL Ghana, a Technical Partner of GOIL, added that Ghanaians should patronize GOIL’s products and services as this will help retain profits within the country.
The Head of Technical and Special Products of GOIL, Mr. J.B. Tagoe, in agreement, assured stakeholders that GOIL will continue to provide quality services and the best credit facilities to its customers.
The fisheries stakeholder meeting was held in Tema to discuss fuel bunkering service operations and their attendant challenges and map out strategies to improve the sector. In attendance were several stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
