The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers Ghana (COPEC-GH) has adjudged GOIL, as the Overall Best Oil Marketing Company (OMC) for 2016.

 The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GOIL, Patrick A.K. Akorli also took the award for the Best CEO category.

GOIL also won two other awards to claim four awards in all from the Chamber.

They are the; “Best Brand, (marketing Category)’ and the “Best Fuel Quality 2016”.

 GOIL has since 2015, bagged several awards for distinguished performance in the industry as the OMC with the biggest market share.

Some of the awards won are;

• NUMBER 2 COMPANY on the prestigious Club 100 listing by the, GIPC- 2015.
• BEST LISTED COMPANY ON THE GSE- 2015
• BEST PETROLEUM COMPANY BY CIMG,-2015
• CIMG MARKETING MAN OF THE YEAR 2015 (CEO,MD)
• ASHANTI EXCELLENCE AWARDS- BEST PETROLEUM COMPANY
• WESTERN REGION AWARDS – BEST PETROLEUM COMPANY

The MD and Chief executive Officer, Mr Patrick Akpe Akorli, was grateful for the gesture and thanked consumers for staying with GOIL, promising that the company will continue to champion their interest.
