GOIL has begun a public football viewing party at two centers in Accra to encourage support for the Black Stars at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The centers are the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Kaneshie Bus Station and the Ashaiman Lapaz Bus Station at Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.

The public viewing will be held for all matches of the Black Stars at the group stage of the tournament as well as the Quarter, Semi, and Final stages of the tournament.

The launch which started with the first game of the Black Stars was fun and packed with several activities such as mock football games, GOIL quizzes, and activation on GOIL’s wide range of lubricants.

The participating public was rewarded with a wide range of GOIL-branded souvenirs such as T-shirts, boxes of tissue, as well as fuel coupons.

The viewing party was also a demonstration of the company’s commitment to promoting sports development in local communities.

Present at the centres was the Head of Corporate Affairs, Dr. Marcus Deo Dake, Public Relations Manager, Mr. Robert Kyere, Lubricants Manager Mrs. Rebecca Manor, Senior Corporate Affairs Executive in charge of Brands and Events, Jamila Mohammed, and other GOIL staff.
