GOIL Company Limited has donated one hundred hospital beds worth GHC 480,000 to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

Group CEO & MD, Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh said the company has been making similar donations every year to the less privileged in society and assisted institutions that provided critical services as part of its corporate social intervention strategy.

 He explained that this year’s donation to KATH was to help improve its in-patient care and specifically address bed shortage issues.

He was hopeful that the new beds would put the hospital in a position to provide quality health care to more people.

The beds were received by the CEO of KATH, Dr. Oheneba Danso who received the beds, lauded GOIL for the gesture noting it would go a long way to improve care for patients.
