GOIL offers Prepaid services on the GOCard. These services are offered to Individuals and Organisations (Staff & Fleet). For Individuals only Prepaid Service is offered.
Each card has a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to authenticate transactions.
Cards are captured when wrong PIN is entered (3) times.
Pin is sent to clients via SMS
An individual receives a customized card embossed with name and or vehicle information.

GOCard is easy to use and enables fuel, lubricant and LPG purchase from our over 444 stations nationwide
here.
All transactions record date, time, place, card number, authorization code as well as opening and closing balance on the POS generated receipt.
Corporate/Fleet Managers can request web access or online portal which provides real-time transactional information and provides export and download functions for records.
Fleet managers or business owners can control fuel consumption, restrict driver journey, and card usage via:
POS Enabled Restrictions:
- Usage Limit: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly limits
- Time restriction: Card can be restricted to be used at specific times
- Day restriction: Card can be restricted to be used on specific days
- Geofencing: Card usage restricted to specific retail outlets or geographical locations
Extra controls via Product Features:
- Odometer (mileage) readings: Provides details on mileage to aid fleet manager in reconciliation of fuel usage against distance covered
- Driver codes: Unique driver identifier for additional security during transaction
- Product Selection: Type of product (Super, Diesel, Kerosene, LPG) can be selected on the Point of Sale Device (POS)
- Cash deposits (Various Bank Accounts /GOIL Head office/GOMerchants at selected stations)
- Cheque deposits (Selected banks/GOIL Head office) (Cheques should be written in the name of GOIL PLC)
- Make purchases the Smart way using QR Code via GOMoney App

- GOIL Zonal Offices (Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale)
- Selected stations with GOMerchants
NOTE: Payments (including transfers) can be made into any of our GOIL bank accounts which will be made available after sign-on.
After bank payments/transfers, kindly send an email with a scanned copy of the pay-in/transfer slip to: gocard@goil.com.gh stating or attaching a load or credit schedule sheet in excel format detailed with card name, card/account numbers and assigned values.
INDIVIDUAL
Customers can register for the GOCard here or pick up a GOCard Registration Form at the Head Office in Accra.
CORPORATE
Corporate bodies are required to send an email request for GOCard via gocard@goil.com.gh
